Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Royal Aspirations is a mix of all the blue flower delphinum from the New Millennium strains. The cultivars of this strain outperform all other tall types and offer some astonishingly rich shades in the flowers. The stems are strong and the plants are generally longer lived than other tall delphiniums. Photo courtesy of Dowdeswell's Delphiniums Ltd.
Another heat tolerant variety from New Zealand, 'Royal Aspirations' has beautiful blue flowers each with a white bee in the center.
The biggest most outrageous large-flowered Delphinium in the world! Not only that, they’re guaranteed to be reliably perennial repeat bloomers. They’ll easily reach 6’ tall & 4’ wide, with multiple spikes! Far more vigorous & mildew resistant than the commonly available “Pacific Giants,” the seed for these amazing Delphs has been made available through painstaking hand pollination by the Dowdeswell family of New Zealand. If you’ve been disappointed by “Pacific Hybrids” in the past, you must try these “Killer Delphs”! Imagine the cut flowers! Grow in rich, composted soil with regular water. Cut back to 4” tall after blooms are spent & side-dress with compost for a second burst of growth & bloom. Bait for snails.
