Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Sweet lily-scented flowers open in the early evening, attracting pollinating moths into the indigo blue nectar-filled centers. Large pure white flowers (6”) are followed by very sharp spiny pods-beware for all parts are highly toxic. Poor soils with low water after establishment suit it fine.
New & juicy! This 2’-3’ tall “Angel’s Trumpet” is native to California’s Sonoran Desert & south to Mexico. The large, 6” across, pure white flowers have a rich indigo (sometimes lavender) blotch in the throat. Attractive foliage & sweet evening fragrance. Daturas are dramatic specimen plants that thrive in POOR SOIL with NO SUMMER WATER, making them great for corners where your hose doesn’t reach! Excellent in garden beds, too. Totally deer proof, as they are poisonous & hallucinogenic. Cool, spiky seed pods. Reseeds.
