Nursery contributed plant descriptions

From Mexico, this 3' x 3' perennial has hundreds of sunset-colored tiny blooms reminiscent of miniature fire-breathing dragons with cute magenta ears. They are indomitable bloomers, June through frost! Yellow, peach, orange, and magenta! They're so delightful to children and to the child in you. Minimum temperature: 20?F
Everblooming where evergreen, nothing short of a brutal frost can slow the blooming power of this warm-hued, mouse-eared sub-shrub. Simple to grow, it can tolerate a fair amount of the sun by the coast & keeps your neighborhood hummingbirds happy. Best & brightest in soil amended with some rich compost. Each tubular orange bloom fades from red to a yellow tip & is garnered with teensy contrasting ears. These are produced in masses & give the plant a glowing appearance in the garden. Grows to a 3’ height & a similar width, but can be kept smaller with regular pruning. Very tolerant of containers!
