Lemon Cucumber is a broadleaf deciduous annual / biennial fruit / vegetable or vine with green foliage. In summer yellow flowers emerge followed by yellow fruit. Attracts bees making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - mostly sun and regular water. Does well in average, rich and well-drained soil.

Yum! My favorite Cucumber & maybe one of my favorite veggies, too! I look forward to Lemon cucumber season since I love them fresh (although you can pickle them for year-round enjoyment). This easy to grow vining sprawler will produce lots & lots of yellow baseball-sized ’cukes. With just one plant I have all the Cucumbers I can eat & still have lots to share. Great for cool or short-Summer areas, it doesn’t need a lot of heat to produce. And no need to peel the crisp, sweet, delicately-flavored Cucumbers. I just rinse them off, rub off the prickly bits on the skin & slice them up. Great with radishes & a bit of salad dressing. You can grow them up a trellis, let them sprawl through the garden or grow in a large pot. Expect production to be smaller in a pot though.
