Nursery contributed plant descriptions

I am thrilled that some nice seed growers in Oregon have seperated out the dark Mahogany/maroon color of Coreopsis tinctoria. It's beautiful and can make for some new color combinations in your garden. And of course this wonderful wildflower is one of the EASIEST plants to grow. Just plant in the sun and forget about! Long blooming and a great cut flower. (P.S. Did you know that you can plant Coreopsis tinctoria in the Fall and it will grow in bloom all winter in Zone 16-17?) 12 -24" tall.
