Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Sublime lavender-pink blooms adorn this very rare Clarkia endemic to California and found growing in only two counties: Humboldt and Mendocino. It's my current favorite as I adore the color and its awesome unusually large and bushy form to 3' tall and 3' across. Highly floriferous, the heart-melting blooms are extra large as well - up to 3” across and attractively highlighted by bright white anthers. I can't wait to plant it in my demo gardens where I'll combine it with Scabiosa atropurpurea ‘Florist's Blue' and lime green Nicotiana langsdorfii.
