Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Soft, silver foliage crowds the upright stems on this tough beauty. Large umbels of gold flowers appear in late Spring and persist for months. Cut back periodically to rejuvenate.
Lovely of form, flower & texture, this South African native shrub is also carefree, evergreen & drought tolerant. Growing to 6’ tall & 4-5’ spread, it bears, in early Summer, very dense, flat topped clusters of yellow, petalless “buttons” on long stems that are excellent for cutting. As the bloom heads age, the color goes through several stages, ending up a deep gold & remaining attractive well into Fall. Foliage is soft & feathery.
