From Mexico comes beautiful & graceful Asarina ‘Joan Lorraine’ an exceptional vine for part shade with rich velvety purple flaring blooms that are nearly 2” wide. I have two plants in my backyard, one growing against the wall above the water spigot twirling thru Impatiens sodenii ‘Madonna’ & the other planted at the base of Brugmansia ‘Charles Grimaldi’, creating a purple groundcover below those dreamy peach trumpets. Fast growing , great on a trellis, in a pot, or climbing. To 8-10’ tall. Cut back in Fall. Sooo pretty, it self-sows, too!
