Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Sexy striations heavily dotted with cream spots make this the one of the dreamiest Aloes in the maculate group. Blooming in Fall with a massive 3’ to 4 1/2’ tall branched inflorescence ranging in color from canary yellow to scarlet red. Looks lovely grouped together. Aloe fosteri is stemless with 12” to 18” long, blue-green leaves forming rosettes 2’ to 3’ wide. This Aloe usually stays solitary, so don’t expect bunches of babies. Prefers well drained soil. Hardy to 20 degrees. Drought tolerant, deer resistant & native to South Africa to boot!
