    Agastache cana 'Purple Pygmy' is a broadleaf deciduous perennial with green foliage. In summer pink and purple flowers emerge. Attracts bees, beneficial insects, butterflies and hummingbirds making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun and regular - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Does well in average, gritty, lean and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant.

    I say, “Yes, please!” to this tidy, showy hummingbird plant! Densely flowering & dense in habit, this long-blooming Agastache adds plenty of pinky purple color to the hot Summer garden, attracting hummingbird friends & butterflies the whole Summer through! All parts of the plant are scented (some noses call it bubblegum, others licorice.) ‘Purple Pygmy’ grows to a mere 16” high & wide. Happy plants can flower so profusely that the leaves are obscured! Average soil is just fine – good drainage is the plant’s preference, but if you don’t water too heavily you’ll be golden.
