Monardella viminea is a broadleaf evergreen perennial with green foliage. In fall pink flowers emerge. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - mostly sun and regular - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Does well in gritty and well-drained soil.

Due to California State regulations we are not able to ship this plant outside of California. A charming Monardella that grows 1-2’ tall. Late blooming, it will bloom into November. The pink flowers provide nectar for butterflies & hummingbirds. The flowers & foliage have a fragrance of mint. The slender willowy foliage is evergreen unless it becomes too dry, at which time it will go dormant. Found in rocky or sandy washes in San Diego County, where its habitat is threatened.
