Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Flower arrangers will go bonkers the first time they see this newly introduced version of the old fashioned cottage favorite. The oval translucent “pennies” start out green-tinged-purple & as they mature they turn a glorious array of sunset bronze, pink, purple, cherry & orange - the colors shifting with the angle of the sun - real garden magic ! And before the coveted pods appear, it’s a swell garden addition in its own right - 3’ tall with attractive heart shaped leaves & fragrant clusters of pretty 4-petalled purple flowers. A cinch to grow. It’s tolerant of poorish soil & shade but do grow it in full sun for the most fabby arrangement material. Readily self sows so you’ll never have to miss them!
