Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Like it says, a large cultivar, 'Mega' has creamy, blushing white flowers with raspberry freckles. Mega leaves, mega flowers -- this is one big monkey. Pot it up and bring in during winter if you are in a colder climate. Tender; 2' TMinimum temperature: 25?F
Twice the monkey of the original Mimulus naiandinus! Very similar to the Chilean species we’ve grown to love here at Annie’s, but this seed strain has some added juice. Larger (2” or more!!) fuzzier flowers & leaves almost twice the size of the original! Bloom color is the same - creamy white to primrose with a raspberry blush & spotting. Blooms for the majority of the Spring & Summer, especially if you occasionally cut the plants back to rejuvenate growth. Dark, branching stems & refined blue-green foliage grow to a bushy, 20” x 20” form that spreads wider with time by rooting along the stems. Winter deciduous. Rich soil is best! Tolerates damp soil & heavy shade. Returns reliably each Spring!
