Phlomis cashmeriana is a broadleaf deciduous perennial with blue and green foliage. In spring and summer lavender flowers emerge. Features fuzzy texture. Attracts bees, birds and butterflies making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - mostly sun and regular - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Prefers to be dry in summer. Does well in average, clay, gritty, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant.

Large, woolly-white leaves (to 7") set the tone for this unusual Kashmerian perennial, and is followed by its 3' stalks of lavender flowers in summer. S/M
There seems to be a few plants listed out there under this name, but ours is described here: Multi stemmed perennial with upright 3-4’ stems with fuzzy, silver-green foliage and summer spikes composed of showy whorls of lavender-pink flowers for an extended time. Flowers attract nectar lovers and pollinators, seed heads attractive into fall and winter. Most soils (even clay), drought tolerant, sun to light shade, deer ad rabbit resistant. Plants 2-3’ wide.
Very showy in the perennial border it is native to the western Himalaya with verticillasters of pale lilac to pink flowers skewered on 90cm stems. ZONE 5
A robust shrub with densely felted stems to 3' tall, it often spreads to a manageable 18" across. The narrowly oval leaves are green with woolly, white undersides and the summertime flowers are pale lilac. Hardy to 10 °F. Kashmir, West Himalaya.
KASHMIR SAGE - A tough, durable, long blooming perennial with soft wooly leaves. Hardy in zones 8-10. Grows 2-3' tall and wide in full sun. The soft woolen stems bear whorls of tubular mauve to pink to lavender blooms that are spaced along the stems. Flowers during June and July. Likes well drained soil. Dried blooms are attractive in fall.
