    Geranium maderense is a broadleaf evergreen or semi-evergreen annual / biennial with green foliage. In summer purple flowers emerge. Grows well with sun - mostly shade and even moisture - low water. Prefers to be dry in summer. Does well in rich and well-drained soil.

    An evergreen mounding biennial. Five lobed, bright green leaves are held on long fleshy stems, which radiate from a central trunk, to form a large dense mound. Throughout summer masses of bright purple-pink, saucer shaped flowers are produced in large branching heads. A spectacular, imposing plant. Flowers in the second year, then dies. So collect seed.
