Nursery contributed plant descriptions

New and exciting for cut flower lovers - and it’s purple too! Someone has come up with this new variety of Larkspur that’s tall- to 4’- and produces sprays instead of spikes. The dark purple Delphinium-like blooms are 1”-1 1/4” across and held at the end of the stems. It’s mucho base branching too, so it won’t look wimpy in the garden and the typical ferny Larkspur foliage is pretty. The sprays last up to 2 weeks in a vase - YAY! And the buds continue to open once cut. And cutting the sprays encourages more bloom - DOUBLE YAY! Rich garden soil is best.
