Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A lovely large flowered tropical looking plant. The bright pink flowers are 3” long & have darker veining in the throat. The evergreen plant sends up tall stems that can reach 5’ tall, although pruning after bloom will encourage a fuller, more branching plant. Grows to 3’ wide. Found growing in dry gravelly slopes & rocky washes of Brazil, it needs well-drained soil. Blooms year round in many parts of California.
