Nursery contributed plant descriptions

An upright clumper 28-30? tall with narrow, light green foliage that is sometimes tipped in bronzy tones. This species prefers damp soils and grows best in sun or part shade. Hardy to 20F. New Zealand.
Olive green foliage turns reddish in fall.
Autumn Sedge. This looks good all the time - not just autumn. That's common names for you. Another evergreen coppery orange New Zealand clumping grass. A little cleanup in the spring qnd you are off to the races. Great for softening a hard edge or proividing shade for your cat.
Like a slightly larger version of Carex testacea- one of the most beautiful of the vast number of grasses from New Zealand, Carex dipsacea makes highly attractive arching clumps of slim greenish bronze foliage turning more orangey/red as it ages. In Summer it bears contrasting black seed heads. To 32” tall, its wonderful as edging, in mixed beds or in a large container.
