Very soft and highly aromatic silver-green foliage forms a mat (10"t x 4'w) which is covered in spring and summer with small lavender- blue flowers that create a purple haze in the dryland or container. S/M-D/GDr
Lovely low mounds of silvery green foliage topped by an almost continuous supply of blue-purple flowers all summer long. The plants have a clean habit with little maintenance required. Use at the front of borders, as a groundcover, on slopes, in the rock garden or containers. Drought tolerant once established. Nepeta can be sheared heavily and will reflush with new foliage and flowers.
This wonderful hybrid catmint will be a fabulous addition to any sunny garden. 'Purple Haze' forms a silver mat with purple blue flowers spikes that look like Buddleias. The plants are blooming and clean looking all summer long. No maintenance because it never gets messy! Can be used in the front of borders and mixed beds, as a ground cover on banks, or in a rock garden. A very versatile plant.
