Heuchera ‘Fire Chief’ forms a medium sized, clumping mound of gorgeous, vivid red leaves with ruffled and crinkled edges. Airy wands of bi-colored pink and white bell flowers appear in late Spring. They are very attractive to hummingbirds and butterflies alike. This hardy evergreen perennial grows with a compact, mounding habit. An excellent groundcover for dry shade. Heuchera will tolerate full sun in more Northern areas as long as adequate moisture is provided.

9" mounds of vibrant red foliage all season are adorned with 15" wine stems carrying many tiny two tone pink and white flowers throughout the summer. Great fun in containers as well as an easy border subject. Plants are easy to grow and ask only for some sun and a soil with good drainage. Remember to plant Heuchera high…leaving a bit of the crown just above grade.
