Large, scalloped leaves on this lovely little clumping, semi-evergreen perennial are peachy orange spiced with warm red veins. Airy flowers in creamy shades float above the foliage in late spring on 20” stems. Clumps are 8-10” tall, expanding to about 2’. Moist, well drained, organic soils but will tolerate some seasonal dryness in shade; enjoys morning sun to bright shade; heat and humidity-tolerant (foliage color actually intensifies). A sweet treat for the garden or in pretty containers.
Huge cinnamon stars at the centre of each leaf are surrounded by the loveliest orange tea coloured borders. 'Sweet Tea' is a new instant classic for containers and garden. Undeniably the most intensely coloured Heucherella ever! The big, palmately cut leaves darken in the summer and lighten up again in the fall. Its Heuchera villosa breeding gives it a big bold habit and heat and humidity tolerance.
Cinnamon-russet star centers edged by orng-rose-tea: these 4" scalloped leaves are like no other!... Get better in heat and humidity. A new, lovely new palette comes with this 20" beauty. PSh/Med PPAF PVR
A winner in our garden with a tapestry effect of rich orange leaves with dark brownish red markings on the palmate veins.
With a coloring that is soft and vibrant at the same time, the amber orange and cinnamon foliage of Heucherella 'Sweet Tea' is a lovely addition to the shade border. 'Sweet Tea' displays white flowers resembling Tiarella (Foam Flower) on 2' stems in late spring. Foliage forms mounds 20" H x 24" wide.
