Yellow-leaved form of this small, mounding perennial, a cross between the very useful heuchera and the shade loving tiarella, this with lobed leaves of yellow to lime green splashed with red. Accepts more sun than many yellow-leaved plants; partial shade as well, though greener. Reaches only 12" tall or so in clumps to 16" wide. The white, spring flowers are small, on stems to 20" tall. Best with some summer moisture especially in bright light. Frost hardy to USDA zone 4.
