Nursery contributed plant descriptions

One of the best for hot southern summers, this mildew-resistant mounder offers DARK leaves HEAVILY splashed with bright CONTRASTING silver; large pink flowers in early spring age to blue. PSh-Sh/M-W PP12337
Striking palest gray green foliage edged in a deeper green makes this a dynamite foliage plant for an evenly moist garden soil. In spring, 9" stems bear red-coral tinted buds that open to pink changing to violet bell flowers. After flowering ceases, cut back the stems to encourage fresh new foliage for the rest of the gardening season.
'High Contrast' has brilliantly contrasting foliage and one of the best track records of all of our Pulmonaria in the hot summers of the Midwest and South. Large pink flowers fade to blue over mildew resistant foliage. Nice mounding habit. Wavy, spear-shaped leaves are dark green, infused with melting silver.
