The amazing chartreuse-gold foliage of this mini 1-2' clumper will make any shade spot shine all season, but especially in spring with its mass of sky-blue flowers; vigorous for border or container. PSh-Sh/M PPAF PVR
A nice breakout from all the silver selections, this baby is GOLD… and keeps its cheery-glowy foliage all summer long! The clusters of sky blue flowers in April>May are flashy against the gilded leaves. Mounds of heart shaped leaves 12” tall and clumping out to 24”. Part shade, average soils and consistent moisture during bloom and growth season make this pretty perennial happy. Also quite content in containers. Easy and minimal maintenance.
Add to Wishlist As its common name suggests, chartreuse-gold heart shaped leaves are what make this selection distinctive. This will be our first year offering it, but we've been told it holds its foliage color well all season. Soft blue forget me not flowers in mid spring. Cut back the flowering stems once flowering has finished to encourage fresh foliar growth. Brunnera like a soil that is evenly moist but well drained. Ultimately plants grow to 15" tall, and about 2' wide.
A chartreuse/gold foliage brunnera that holds its colour all summer. Steve Lesch found this amazing seedling in his neighbour Diane's garden. It has proven to be vigourous and hardy in his garden in Madison, Wisconsin for 5 years. Looks equally good in the shade border or containers. Very showy in bloom with its sky blue flowers.
A chartreuse foliage Brunnera that holds its color all summer. Steve Lesch found this amazing seedling in his friend Diane's garden. It has proven to be dwarf and stable in his garden in Madison, Wisconsin for 5 years. We were impressed with how well and how evenly it held its chartreuse color through the summer. Looks equally good in the shade border or nursery container. Very showy in bloom with its sky blue flowers.
