Whorls of glossy emerald green foliage are topped with 10 inch spikes of beautifully detailed tubular flowers with strawberry pink lips, white throats and strawberry pink guide lines. New flower spikes continue to grow from the base and from lateral shoots. With a little deadheading 'Stawberry Taffy' can provide more than two months of bloom time. Popular with hummingbirds.
This lovely Penstemon has 10" long flower spikes all summer into fall. The flowers have strawberry pink lips and white throats with strawberry pink guide lines. New spikes continue to grow from the base with deadheading to encourage new lateral blooms. 'Strawberry Taffy' prefers good drainage and reasonably fertile soils.
