Penstemon 'Blueberry Taffy' is a broadleaf deciduous perennial with green foliage. In fall and summer lavender, pink and red flowers emerge. Whorls of glossy emerald green foliage are topped with 10 inch spikes of beautifully detailed tubular flowers with lavender-blue flushed pink lips, white throats and red guide lines. New flower spikes continue to grow from the base and from lateral shoots. With a little deadheading 'Blueberry Taffy' can provide more than two months of bloom time.

This lovely Penstemon has 10" long flower spikes all summer into fall. The lavender blue lips of the flower frame white throat with lavender blue guide lines. New spikes continue to grow from the base with deadheading to encourage new lateral blooms. 'Blueberry Taffy' prefers good drainage and reasonably fertile soils.
