Nursery contributed plant descriptions

From April until the end of summer, clusters of sky-blue, flat, up-facing blooms top 6" stems in 1' wide clumps. Each flower deepens to ultramarine around its yellow eye. Accommodating of many conditions and non-invasive since it doesn't make seed, 'Devon Skies' makes a great garden friend. Divide as needed - the more the merrier. Deer, heat, humidity and drought resistant! What's not to like? Minimum temperature: 0?F
This charming and showy, grass-like clumper is our favourite of the genus. It is covered with large, upward-facing, sky blue flowers for weeks in midsummer. This dwarf hybrid tolerates many soils as long as good drainage is provided. Super in the rock garden or border edge. Will rebloom but will not reseed.
A small, clump forming, evergreen perennial. During Spring and Summer slender stems bearing bright blue, yellow centred, star shaped flowers, 2cm across, are produced. A pretty little plant useful for filling small gaps among stones, as an intriguing edging for a path or in pot on it's own.Likes a well drained, Neutral to Alkaline soil.

Showy sky-blue star-like flowers top this charming grass-like clumper in mid-summer; easy and beautiful in rock garden or border. SUN/Med-Dry/GdDrain
This showy, grass-like clumper is covered with dozens of large, sky-blue flowers for weeks in early summer atop deer resistant foliage. It blooms all summer in the NE and South tolerating heat, humidity, poor soils, and drought as long it has good drainage. Super in the rock garden or front of the border. (It's sterile too!) We just learned that S. 'Devon Skies' was found in Edmund and Rita Heaton's UK garden (the National Collection Holders for Sisyrinchium).
