A mere 12-18” stature and 24” in girth, this elfin deciduous shrub shows off big time with pink and white variegated leaves (more pink in full sun) on compact plants, pink bells in spring add to the appeal of this award winning plant. Deer resistant. Sun to part shade, most decent soils, medium water.
PP16,824 This dwarf masterpiece is a sport of Weigela florida 'Tango'. It is the first dwarf variegated Weigela to be introduced. Its tight habit and colorful foliage make it very versatile. Variegation changes depending on light exposure - whiter variegation in shade and pink variegation in full sun. Possible applications include an artistic drift along the edge of an annual or perennial bed or as an accent piece in a container. My Monet™ creates poetic beauty in any landscape and adds a splash of color to semi shady areas. Use it like you would use Coleus, to add season long color, but don't worry about replanting next spring: this little shrub comes back year after year. Features: Pink spring flowers and green and white variegated foliage all season long. Great for mixed beds and borders. Season long color. Dwarf. Deer resistant. A petite foliage plant with tricolor pink-white soft green foliage, reaching only a height of 12-18", making it a good choice for containers as well as the garden. Bright pink flowers decorate this pretty little shrub in the spring, but the foliage looks lovely all season.
A miniature form this variety will only reach 18’’ in the best conditions. The foliage has green centers and pink turning white edges. Spring flowers are light pink inside and darker pink outside.
