Viola corsica is a fast-growing broadleaf deciduous, evergreen or semi-evergreen perennial with green foliage. In spring and summer blue and purple flowers emerge. Grows well with sun - shade and even moisture water. Drought tolerant once established. Adapts to various soil conditions. Does well in acidic, alkaline, clay, gritty, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant and verticillium wilt resistant.

This sweet little flower has the look of an impish wild violet, but is drought tolerant and long blooming. Masses of iridescent lavender flowers combine well with coral diascia or petite yellow daffodils.
A wild violet from the Mediterranean with large, one-inch, bright purple flowers produced in every season. Heat tolerant and perennial, it combines well with other colors in the garden and can take considerable drought. Excellent in the rock garden. Reseeds moderately. Perennial. Rich loam to clay or gravelly soils. USDA zones 3-8 (up to 9,000').
From Corsica & Sardinia, comes this vigorous & profuse blooming Violet. Bunches of violet-purple blooms are held erect & are often produced year round too. Can completely cover foliage when in bloom. Reseeds nicely. Highly recommended by those who have grown it! To 6” x 12”.
