Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Delightful small-medium shrub of bushy habit, freely producing its clusters of fragrant pink-tinted flowers in spring; of better constitution than V. carlesii. S/M
Has the best characteristics of both its parents - V.carlesii & V.bitchiuense. Full, rounded habit and more resistant to leaf spot. Equally fragrant. From the Arnold Arboretum. A dense shrub with stiff, upright spreading branches. Used in foundation planting and valued for it's fragrance and lovely snowball-like blooms which open from pink to reddish buds. Dark green leaves turn reddish to wine-red in Autumn. With a slow growth rate, it rarely needs pruning but if needed, prune after flowering.

Fragrance from these late spring white and pink flowers wafts across the garden! 7 ft tall x 7 ft wide.
