Zn 3. Pink flowers. Mahogany-red foliage.
A useful groundcover with rich burgundy foliage and pink to red flowers. Evergreen.
There's no escaping the spell that these devilishly handsome dark leaves and neon bright blooms will cast on you. Topped with a rosy red summertime icing of tiny star-shaped flowers arranged in 4-branched clusters, the rich mahogany red foliage is thick, obovate and toothed at the tips, while shrouding merlot-infused trailing stems. 'Voodoo' conjures a short trouble free carpet-like ground cover that relishes sandy or rocky soil, stays evergreen in milder climates, detests over watering and abates erosion.
Stunning dark mahogany-red leaves, with bright magenta flowers in mid summer. A great ground cover for a hot, dry site. Looks flat-out stunning combined with silver or blue leaves plants like some of the more vigorous dianthus, or with yellows like Sedum 'Angelina' Zone 3 -Joseph
Much like Sedum 'Dragon's Blood' but lower in habit, it boasts dark mahogany toned foliage complimented by clusters of rosy-red flowers. 4-6" high with sprawling habit.
A terrific, trouble-free edger, trailer or groundcover for a dry garden! And so contrastic with an intense, reddish mahogany, foliage mat to 18” across. Gorgeous, almost neon, rosy-red flowers appear June thru August held tight & low against the foliage. To only 4”-6” tall, pinch once in awhile for densest mat. Durable, carefree, & long-lived, it also makes a nice container subject. Fast growing - space 1’ apart. Drought tolerant, long lived, deer resistant & attracts butterflies!
4 inch tall plants that spread to form a groundcover of deep mahogany red leaves.
