Nursery contributed plant descriptions

A whole long-lasting (longer than ?Autumn Joy?) bouquet of rich, deep-red flowers top this compact 2-3' mound of fleshy-leaves; great! addition for the autumn border and vase. S/M-D COPF Norseco
Autumn Fire' is an improved form of the classic 'Autumn Joy' with fuller, long lasting flower clusters. The rosy pink flowers age through salmon-bronze to copper-red shades. Strong, thick stems remain upright and do not collapse under the weight of the succulent grey-green foliage. Upright stonecrops are useful nearly year round: mounds of succulent new growth in early spring, structural upright clumps through summer, heads of showy flower heads in late summer and fall, and dried flower stems in winter.
Thanks to Norseco Nursery in Quebec for this newly improved form of the commonly planted 'Autumn Joy'. Strong, stout stems lined with dentate, gray-green, fleshy leaves support the more substantial, longer lasting blooms. Bold clusters of closely packed, rosy pink flowers age to a salmon bronze, later casting coppery red shades upon the autumn landscape.
An improved Autumn Joy with thicker foliage and more uniform pink flowers that cluster thickly obscuring the foliage this is an excellent sedum for general landscape use. ZONE 4
Bold clusters of closely packed rosy pink flower heads atop 2-3' plants blooming late summer thur fall and having winter interest including food for birds. Likes sun and tolerates drought. Hardy in zone 3-9
An improvement over 'Autumn Joy' with better leaf retention and reddish brown flower heads that are handy for flower arranging.
