Small scale ground cover shrublet with dark green evergreen leaves, 3-5”(8”) tall and about 2’ wide. Pea like flowers in small clusters held above foliage are pinky-purple with bright yellow puckered lips March thru May. Well drained soil with regular moisture in sun to part shade. Nice rock garden selection or beach bum. Deer resistant. USDA Z5
Similar to 'Grandiflora' but with narrower leaves and the numerous flowers are arranged in small clusters, protruding further out from the foliage. Likes the same growing conditions as the species and spreads more or less depending on the soil.
