Picea omorika 'Pendula Bruns' is a moderate-growing evergreen conifer tree with green foliage. Flowers are not showy, but nurture a healthy ecosystem as wildlife habitat. and purple fruit. Very narrow and possibly the most pendulous upright Serbian spruce, this weeping tree develops a leader that grows straight without staking. Branches hang down close to the trunk. Also listed as 'Bruns Pendula' by some nurseries, it was chosen Collectors
This beautiful blue-green evergreen is upright (to 8-10' in 10 years) with lovely pendulous branches; slightly narrower and smaller than Picea omorika Pendula; an excellent focal point. S/M
Eventually a 20’x 2’ strongly weeping blue green spruce. Makes a striking tall evergreen conifer.
Voted 2007 Collectors Conifer of the Year by the American Conifer Society. This weeping Serbian grows strictly narrow, similar to the habit of Picea glauca 'Pendula'. As landscapes get smaller, 'Bruns' will become a perfect choice for narrow spaces. Characteristic green and bluish-silver needles demand attention as the plant grows into a tall specimen. This cultivar was found at Bruns Nursery in Germany. Growth Rate medium, 6-12" annually

One of the coolest trees in our collection, not to mention most expensive, big plants of Bruns are very hard to come by, it looks like Morticia Adams, strictly weeping with the skirt trailing on the ground; the most strongly weeping of the pendulous omorika forms.
Bruns grows into a tight columnar tree. Very narrow with ascending branches giving the over all effect of a thin weeping tree.

A very narrow, 14 ft (4 m) tall and 4 ft (1.2 m) wide in 10 years, foliage light green and light blue. Give full sun in a deep rich soil, moist and well-drained. A splendid variety that has the added advantage that deer don't like it.
