One of the best performing perennials for the woodland garden with its cheerful white-trimmed blue flowers on 10" tall and spreading plants. Look into the eyes of this flower and you'll forget its common name. Minimum temperature: -10°F
This lovely groundcover is semi-evergreen with lush, green, ovate foliage. In early spring it produced many small, forget-me-not-like blue flowers with white edges. They resemble a carpet of tiny blue stars on a white background. Plant with hellebores, crocus, daffodils and hyacinths.
Pink flushed, white forget-me-not flowers, with a central, wide blue stripe on each petal. Clumping, evergreen and likes humusy, well drained soil. Best when the foliage is trimmed off end of winter, right before bloom. Available from April 2012 onwards.
To 10" and spreading, with lavender-blue flowers edged in white that have the appearance of fallen stars, especially when massed in deep shade.
A perennial forget-me-not! Lavender blue flowers with picotee white edges April > June on 8-10” tall plants with attractive evergreen leaves are striking at woodland edge. Slow spreaders never stray too far from where they were planted. Prefers moist soil, but tolerates some dry shade…dappled light is perfect, but takes some sun in cooler climate zones. A great spring bulb cover as well as a niche grower on shady garden walls…this cultivar is more compact than the species, with bigger flowers.
