We didn't list this superb plant last year for the first time in 40 plus years. We think this is one of the top ten plants (of any plants) to be bred in the 20th century. The dark green leaves are almost hidden by the mid pink flowers. Our plant is in full sun and it thrives. Has been to -12ºF. It died to the ground and came back.

A most interesting camellia. The large, semi-double flowers of orchid-pink occur with such profusion as to almost completely hide the branches! Another plus: it is cold hardy and heat tolerant. Blooms midseason.
