The large 3" wide, thick textured blooms of this rare mandevilla are deliciously vanilla scented. Wonderful on an arbor near the entrance to your home, where its fragrance and pure white flowers can be easily enjoyed in summer. Its moderate growth rate ensures it won't smother nearby plants, maturing at 10-12' in height. Provide fertile, bone meal enriched, well-drained soils. Northern gardeners will want to grow in pots in a warm sheltered spot, later wintering indoors in a sunny window.
A delightful climber that produces sprays of 2" pure white blooms and emits a sweet fragrance throughout the summer months. Give lots of heat and sun to produce quick growth. In northern zones, grow in a container and allow it to twine on a trellis or stake or plant in a hanging basket. During the cool short days of fall and winter growth stops and it will go into a partial dormancy losing leaves and sitting still. Keep a little on the dry side during the winter and maintain above 60_F.
This beautiful South American climber is also known as Mandevilla suaveolens. Not a true Jasmine, of course, but lovely with pure white, fragrant flowers all summer.
A twining deciduous vine known and loved for its showy flowers. Heart-shaped leaves cover the length of this vine that grows to 15'. In summer wonderfully fragrant clusters of white flowers bloom profusely on both new and previous year's growth.

Don't be scared off by the tropical name of this deciduous, woody vine to 10-12'. They'll grow here; butterflies love 'em, bees and birds love 'em, and we love 'em when the huge white fragrant flowers appear in mid summer. Full sun in a protected position (for insurance) and regular water. Hardy to 10F, resprouting from the ground. Mulch protection helpful for young plants.
Quite a different animal than the big pink Mandevillas people spend big bucks on to grow as annuals! This vine is much hardier - to 10 °F – it goes deciduous in the colder part of its range, but will stay fairly evergreen here by the Bay. Best of all, the big white flowers, blooming from late Spring thru most of Summer & sometimes longer, are wonderfully fragrant! An easygoing vine that doesn’t get overwhelmingly big – 10-15’, preferring regular water. Tolerates some neglect but appreciates good soil, some occasional compost & something to climb on. Can be pruned back hard in Winter before new growth begins again.
