Malus 'Louisa' is a slow-growing broadleaf deciduous fruit / vegetable or tree with green foliage. In spring pink flowers emerge. Attracts birds and butterflies making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun - bright shade and even moisture water. Drought tolerant once established. Shell-pink blossoms grace this lovely weeping crabapple in spring. The blooms are followed by 3/8" yellow fruits that have an attractive rose blush on them, the fruit persists in to winter and is loved by birds. The tree has excellent form to 12-15' and dark, glossy-green, disease-resistant foliage which turns yellow-orange in autumn; a beautiful landscape accent. Good for urban gardens as it withstands air pollution well. S/M
Pink flowers on weeping form are followed by 3/8" yellow fruit. Zones 4-8.
Pendulous, weeping form can create a choice specimen or focal point. Light pink flowers in spring.
