Luzula sylvatica 'Marginata' is an evergreen perennial groundcover grass (or grassy in appearance) with green, variegated and white foliage. In spring and summer tan flowers emerge. Features glossy and grassy texture. Grows well with bright shade - shade and even moisture - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Adapts to various soil conditions. Does well in average, clay, gritty and rich soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant and verticillium wilt resistant.

Beautiful as well as useful, this rush forms mat-like mounds of 8-12" lush green grass-like leaves edged in gold; very hardy, very tough: it can tolerates shade, drought, and tree root competition!-fine woodland groundcover. PSh/MD
Easy care Woodrush, evergreen, strappy, pointed foliage with thin, cream ‘leafliner’ margins form expanding clumps about 12” tall and eventually 2-3’ wide. Good foundation plant for woodland edge in lightly shaded locations (will take morning sun). Not fussy about soils and takes some dry shade once established. Deer and critter resistant.
Dark green leaves with a creamy yellow margin grow in dry shade with no problem. Evergreen, mounding, and spreading, these are tough but handsome plants with growth to 16" tall. Minimum temperature: -10°F Sorry, grasses and sedges cannot be shipped to California.
Evergreen. This densely mounding woodrush forms clumps of somewhat narrow, glossy, dark green leaves edged in cream. In midspring, small, chestnut-brown inflorescences open on 3" long panicles amidst the 2' leaf blades. It's the perfect companion for ferns, violets and other woodland flowers and It tolerates clay soil. Prefers shady conditions but tolerates some sun.
