Luzula sylvatica 'Aurea' is a broadleaf evergreen perennial groundcover grass (or grassy in appearance) with chartreuse foliage. In spring chocolate flowers emerge followed by brown fruit. Features grassy texture. Grows well with mostly sun - shade and even moisture - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Adapts to various soil conditions. Does well in average, clay, rich and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant and verticillium wilt resistant.
