      This unique tree has wonderfully large (up to 7") heart-shaped leaves that lend a very tropical feel to your garden. Spring brings long pendulous clusters of small, fragrant yellow-green flowers. The blooms are followed by bright-red pea sized fruits that persist all winter. The berries only appear on pollinated female plants, a male is necessary. Ours are grown from seed, so their gender won't be known until they're older. S/M
