Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Bright yellow flowers bloom in June and July amid leathery, sea-green leaves on stems that develop interesting peeling bark with age. 3' x 3' shrub.Minimum temperature: -20°F
A great, low maintenance shrub for the mixed border. It forms 3' mounds of blue-green foliage and in mid-summer is topped by bright gold, 2" 'Starburst' blooms that continue thru September. Mature stems and branches are clothed in reddish bark that shreds and peels in thin flakes. This is a mounding Hypericum, not spreading.

A wonderful low maintenance shrub for the mixed border, forming 3-4' mounds of blue-green foliage with bright golden starburst blossoms in high summer.
Fabulous foliage for a Hypericum. The semi-evergreen blue-green leaves densely cloak this low domed hardy shrub and pair oh so well with the cheery yellow flowers which have not an ounce of shyness. Easy plant for for our area with very average water needs.
