Glossy leaves beautifully veined in ivory and often red toothed make this taller (to 3') Corsican species a beauty whether or not its nodding yellow-green flowers persist through spring frosts. PSh-Sh/M/acid/z8 for flowers
Fantastic foliage on this 'tough as nails', winter blooming perennial – Created a 3' mound of serrated, sculptural leaves – White flowers with a touch of green late winter well into spring – Most soils – Part shade – Even dry shade under greedy trees! Will create a small 'pod o' hellies by seeding around itself. You can't help but love this plant! One of my top FIVE!
This native of Corsica and Sardinia is one of the largest Hellebores, with big racemes of light green, cup-shaped flowers nodding well above gray-green foliage. The sturdy leaves of this bushy, sub-shrub-like plant have veins of ivory and small teeth that turn red with age. Try it as a foil for Omphalodes 'Cherry Ingram' and Pulmonarias.
Dramatic evergreen architectural plant that rewards one with exquisite cup-shaped, apple-green flowers in late winter and early spring. Use as a fantastic entrance-way focal point or plant it in view from a window where you can see the flowers lighting up even the darkest and rainiest of spring days. Prefers more sun than H. x hybridus and niger. In the wild found only on the islands of Sardinia and Corsica. Deer resistant.
A clumping evergreen perennial. Slender stalks are topped with large, tough, sharply toothed, grey-green, glossy, dissected leaves. In late Winter branching stems are produced bearing many single, pale green, rose-like flowers which persist for several weeks . Provide with an alkaline, well drained soil. Plant the crown below the soil level.

Light green flowers brave winter weather on gray-green foliage. 2' x 2' plants are very sun and drought tolerant.
