    Helenium 'Sahin's Early Flowerer' is a broadleaf deciduous perennial with green foliage. In fall and summer chocolate, red and yellow flowers emerge. Attracts bees and butterflies making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun and regular - occasional water. Does well in average and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something heat tolerant.

    This cultivar's flowers open deep red with a brown and yellow central cone, then develop orange and yellow streaks on the petals. The flowers of Helenium are non-allergenic. Instead, it gets its name from the old-time use of the dried, powdered root for snuff. Helenium is a wonderful perennial that is easy to grow and provides months of fabulous colour from midsummer through early fall. Their tall stems and long lasting flowers make them ideal for cutting.
