Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Also known as ?Feuerzauber? this is one of the best of the reds: the fire-bright, very fragrant, coppery-orange-red flowers of this vigorous upright (to 15?) shrub light it up in late winter-early spring and the fall color of its large rounded leaves turns it to flame in fall! S-PSh/M
(Feuerzauber) has soft red flowers. This hamamelis looks somewhat like H. 'Ruby Glow' but has a round leaf and lighter colored flowers. Nice red-orange fall foliage color.
Firecracker Witchhazel is a strong growing vase shaped shrub with copper orange-red flowers. Its flowers are only slightly fragrant and they come on a little later than most of the clan.
Another red flowered form; usually these have smaller flowers, but the fall color is stunning.
Starts the year with Fragrant Coppery Red blooms from January or February thru March and ends the year in Fall with Orange/Red foliage! Just makes a spectacle of itself a good part of the year! Trademarked as 'Fire Charm' in the US and 'Magic Fire' in the UK.

The German loosley translates to 'Magic Fire' or 'Fire Charm', and the fragrant orange red blossoms ignite the landscape with color in February and March. Fall color is a golden yellow. This witchhazel hybrid (of mollis and japonica) will reach a height of 15-18' tall and 12-15' wide. Grow witchhazel in a slightly moist but well drained soil.
This is an attractive red flowered cultivar. The flowers turn from red to orange as they age.
