Gaura lindheimeri 'Siskiyou Pink' is a classic butterfly gaura that rises 18-24 inches tall in a vase-shape clump with erect and reddish arching stems supporting airy, four-petaled delicate pink butterfly-like flowers from early summer into fall. Foliage is small and lance-shaped with dark green leaves often splashed with red. Use at the front of a sunny border, in containers or in rock gardens in small groups or large drifts. Very low care and drought tolerant. Requires well-drained, average to poor soils. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. Deer and rabbit resistant.
Masses of tall wispy deep pink spikes are covered by a succession of large pink butterfly-like flowers throughout summer. A tough and hardy, drought tolerant, perennial US Native.
