Eucalyptus pauciflora ssp. niphophila is a broadleaf evergreen tree with blue and green foliage. In spring and summer white flowers emerge. Features glaucous texture. Attracts bees making it an excellent addition to pollinator gardens. Grows well with sun and occasional - low water. Drought tolerant once established. Prefers to be dry in summer. Does well in average, gritty, lean, rocky and well-drained soil. A good option if you're seeking something seaside / salt tolerant, verticillium wilt resistant and wind tolerant.

The snow gum has shaped blue leaves. This fast growing hardy (5° F) eucalyptus will get ups to 30’ with handsome gray and white peeling bark.
Perhaps the most handsome Eucalyptus we can grow in Oregon. Small tree to 20' with shimmering silver foliage and exquisite gray bark peeling to green and brown. Huggable. For sun, lean, well-drained soil, and little summer water. High elevation forms are frost hardy to USDA Zone 8. As expected, they sailed through untouched in the winter of 2009.
One of the best for our climate, this is an excellent small tree with arching trunks of no small character. Blue-green rounded juvenile leaves transform into small lance-shaped leaves when mature. Isn't the trick to growing old retaining some of the outrage(nous) of youth? Best drier.
