Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Himalayan foxtail lily has dramatic five foot (or more) spires of white flowers that tower above bright green strap-like leaves in early summer. Give foxtail lilies their space and do not allow other perennials to overgrow their foliage. Surround them with nice low groundcovers. The foliage goes dormant after bloom when soil moisture should be reduced.
We're just going to be tossing superlatives by the shovel full when it comes to the Foxtail Lilies so bear with us! Native to Afghanistan with 6' stems of starry white fragrant flowers and is excellent cut although we can't bear to do so. Rich well drained soil. Plant so bud 3" deep. Summer dry.
Towers to 8' tall of snow white fox tail plumes in early summer. One of the first Eremurus to bloom and what fantastic sight it is. Dry when dormant is essential.
