Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Has soft creamy yellow flowers on a 6”-12” plant. The foliage is best cut down late winter so the flowers can show their best.
An excellent groundcover, spreading by rhizome, with fine pinkish-red fall cover and flowers of late yellow with a deep yellow spur... sort of like a tiny columbine! PSh/M
In spring and then fall, showy primrose-yellow flowers shaped like little daffodils cluster above lime-green leaves with rusty-red highlights. Semi-evergreen, 9" tall spreader. Minimum temperature: -20 °F
Dramatic red-bronze new foliage and charming sulphur yellow flowers in early spring. Excellent ground cover that grows well under trees where other plants falter. The evergreen foliage turns russet in fall. Epimediums are among the easiest perennials to grow. They thrive in medium to heavy shade, and when established, are highly drought tolerant. They can be used as effective groundcovers or shade garden accents. They are deer resistant and are seldom bothered by voles or other critters.
Visitors are always delighted by the pale, clear yellow flowers rising above leathery, heart-shaped foliage. This is one of the best Epimediums for fall color. We plant it with early blooming Pulmonarias or Brunneras.
Mint green heart shaped leaves tinged red when young & coppery in fall, sulfur yellow flowers, 1' stems. ZONE 4
Very close to 'Neosulphureum' with slightly darker flowers and longer spurs. Also winter-green, leaves turning maroon in winter, moderately spreading and very drought tolerant. Available again mid May.
Yellow flowers. Red-mottled green leaves.
Soft yellow flowers dance on wiry stems above bronze tinted foliage. Cut back winter-burned foliage, to the ground, in early spring before flowering stems appear. 14".
Clump-forming, evergreen perennial with heart-shaped leaves that are red when young and later turning green. Produces small, saucer-to cup-shaped flowers with bright yellow petals and pale yellow inner sepals. The 12" tall foliage and flowers can be long-lasting in arrangements.
