Nursery contributed plant descriptions

Sweet little barronwort with small leaves and white flowers.
First flush of leaves emerge with a most striking "hand painted" 1/2" wide dark black- purple border. Medium size creamy white flowers cover the clump in spring. Approx. 12" tall. Zones 4-9. Deciduous.
Delightful in flower, but equally in foliage. Olive green leaves have a band of bronze purple around the edge. Dainty white fairy wing flowers dance on 6" wiry stems in late April and early May. Clumps up relatively nicely for an Epimedium. Grow in well drained soil in partial shade. Tolerant of dry conditions and deer resistant.
Distinct striking dark purple band around leaf margin in spring is quite attractive. White flowers on low growing plants to less than 1' tall.
